Butterscotch No - Bakes

Total Time: 1 hr 26 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 11 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 3 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut

Recipe

  • 1 line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
  • 2 combine the sugar, butter and evaporated milk in a saucepan.
  • 3 bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • 4 remove from the heat and the butterscotch chips.
  • 5 stir until smooth.
  • 6 stir in the rolled oats and coconut.
  • 7 mix thoroughly.
  • 8 cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • 9 drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the waxed paper.
  • 10 refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
