Chicken Dijon Shepherds Pie

Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 cup onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (12 ounce) jar chicken gravy
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 cups mashed potato flakes
- paprika
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350.
- 2 spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3 add chicken and onions; cook and stir until chicken is browned and no longer pink in center.
- 4 stir in all remaining filling ingredients, mix well.
- 5 spoon into ungreased 8 inch square glass baking dish.
- 6 bring water to boil in medium saucepan.
- 7 remove from heat.
- 8 stir all remaining topping ingredients except paprika, mix well.
- 9 spoon topping over chicken mixture.
- 10 sprinkle with paprika.
- 11 bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
