Cheesy Potatoes

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup diced onion
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed. (little squared, not shredded)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups corn flakes

Recipe

  • 1 melt margarine in pan and add onions.
  • 2 cook until onions are sort of soft.
  • 3 add soup, cheese, salt and pepper.
  • 4 when cheese is sort of melted, add sour cream and mix well.
  • 5 in large bowl put thawed potatoes.
  • 6 pour cheese mixture onto potatoes and stir well, coating the potatoes.
  • 7 pour mixture into a 9" x 13 " glass pan that you have greased.
  • 8 sprinkle on the topping.
  • 9 bake at 350 for 30-40 minute.
