Curried Tuna Slice

Ingredients

- 4 sheets frozen pastry dough, thawed
- 425 g tuna, drained & flaked
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/3 cup spring onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- beaten egg, for glaze
Recipe
- 1 using 2 sheets of pastry, line a lightly greased 28cm x 18cm slice tin.
- 2 combine remaining ingredients and spoon into pastry-lined tin, pressing down well.
- 3 using remaining pastry, cover the filling, trim edges and crimp. use the pastry scraps to decorate the top.
- 4 glaze & cut a vent in pastry top.
- 5 bake in a moderate oven for 35 mins or until golden brown.
- 6 can be served hot or cold.
