Chocolate Crunchies

Ingredients

  • 6 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, chopped
  • 27 jumbo marshmallows (or 1 package regular marshmallows)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon rum flavoring or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups rice, zkrispies
  • 1/2 cup baker's angel flake coconut
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 melt chocolate over low heat, stirring until melted. stir in marshmallows, milk and rum flavoring; continue stirring over low heat until melted.
  • 2 add cereal, coconut and nuts. mix lightly. cool slightly.
  • 3 form into 1-inch balls.
  • 4 roll in additional coconut or nuts, if desired. chill until firm.
