Chicken Stew

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 4 medium potatoes (optional)
  • 2 -3 carrots (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 1 (1 lb) bag noodles
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch

Recipe

  • 1 cook chicken in large pot nearly covered with water.
  • 2 de-bone chicken (retain water) and return meat to pot with water/broth.
  • 3 cut potatoes and carrots into bite sized chunks and add to broth.
  • 4 add spices and simmer 5 minutes.
  • 5 add noodles and cook until done (20-30 minutes).
  • 6 mix cornstarch with water, bring pot to a boil, add cornstarch mixture to thicken.
  • 7 serve.
