Bean Sprouts Side Dish

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 lbs soybean mixed sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame salt
  • 2 scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons korean red pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 in a large shallow pot, bring 1 ½ cups water to a boil. add the salt and bean sprouts.
  • 2 simmer the sprouts for about 5 minutes, tossing them a couple of times to mix evenly.
  • 3 drain very well. mix the soy sauce and sesame oil. add to sprouts along with the remaining ingredients.
  • 4 toss well and chill.
