Cowgirl Chili

Ingredients

- 2 lbs extra lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped fine
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 pinch hot pepper flakes
- 2 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 (14 ounce) cans kidney beans (undrained)
Recipe
- 1 brown beef and onion and drain off fat.
- 2 mix spices and add to beef and onions.
- 3 add tomatoes, gr peppers and celery, simmer 45 minutes.
- 4 add beans and simmer another 10 minutes and serve.
