Cranberry Walnut Granola

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1 1/4 cups post grape-nuts cereal
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Recipe

  • 1 combine the oats, wheat germ, grape nuts, coconut flakes, walnuts and brown sugar in a large bowl.
  • 2 in a smaller bowl, combine the oil, honey, vanilla and cinnamon.
  • 3 mix everything together and spread into a 13x9 inch pan.
  • 4 bake at 300 degrees for about an hour, stirring every 15 minutes, until everything is toasted.
  • 5 allow everything to cool and toss in the dried cranberries.
