Chocolate Coconut Bars

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup flaked coconut
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Recipe
- 1 unroll crescent roll dough into one long rectangle on a ungreased baking sheet.
- 2 seal seams, and perforations, then roll out into a 9x13 inch rectangle building up dough around edges.
- 3 in a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth, and stir in the coconut.
- 4 spread this over the crust.
- 5 bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is set.
- 6 immediately sprinkle with the chocolate chips, and let stand for 5 minutes.
- 7 spread the melted chipsover the top, and sprinkle with the nuts.
- 8 cool completely before cutting.
