Chocolate Coconut Bars

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup flaked coconut
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Recipe

  • 1 unroll crescent roll dough into one long rectangle on a ungreased baking sheet.
  • 2 seal seams, and perforations, then roll out into a 9x13 inch rectangle building up dough around edges.
  • 3 in a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth, and stir in the coconut.
  • 4 spread this over the crust.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is set.
  • 6 immediately sprinkle with the chocolate chips, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 7 spread the melted chipsover the top, and sprinkle with the nuts.
  • 8 cool completely before cutting.
