Cream 'n Spice Asparagus Rolls

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 18 asparagus spears, ends cut
  • 12 slices hard salami
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 -2 tablespoon grated pecorino romano cheese

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 2 arrange spears into 6 bunches of 3 spears each
  • 3 mix the spices and grated cheese into the softened cream cheese
  • 4 spread a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture onto a salami slice. top with another salami slice. then top that slice with a spread of another teaspoon of cream cheese mixture.
  • 5 roll an asparagus bunch in the salami slices and secure with a toothpick.
  • 6 repeat steps 4 and 5 for the remaining asparagus bunches.
  • 7 line up bunches on baking sheet. place in oven to bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
