Ingredients

- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 slices bread
Recipe
- 1 in bowl combine coconut, sugar, butter, egg and vanilla.
- 2 mix well.
- 3 spread over each slice of bread.
- 4 place on ungreased baking sheet.
- 5 bake at 350 f for 15-20 minutes.
- 6 at end, broil for just a moment to brown the coconut slightly.
