Cilantro Lime Grilled Tofu

Ingredients

- 454 g extra firm tofu, well-pressed
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 press tofu well and slice into 8 thick slabs.
- 2 whisk together remaining ingredients.
- 3 coat tofu in marinade.
- 4 marinate in the refrigerator for at least two hours, and up to overnight.
- 5 tofu tends to stick to grills, so prepare your barbecue with a non-stick cooking spray or by rubbing it with oil.
- 6 grill over a pre-heated grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, until browned, brushing occasionally with extra marinade.
