Choco-butter Sweets

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 in medium bowl, mix butter, powdered sugar, flour, salt and vanilla thoroughly.
  • 3 roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 4 press thumb gently into center of each cookie to make impression.
  • 5 bake in preheated oven 12-15 minutes or until done.
  • 6 remove from oven and cool completely.
  • 7 while cookies cool, prepare filling and chocolate drizzle.
  • 8 filling:.
  • 9 in bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, flour, vanilla, pecans and coconut. mix well.
  • 10 chocolate drizzle:.
  • 11 combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, butter, milk and powdered sugar in top of a double boiler. cook over low heat until melted, stirring until smooth.
  • 12 once cookies are cooled, fill indentations with filling, then pipe on the chocolate drizzle (you can also just use a spoon to drizzle).
