Chickpea Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 240 g chickpeas
- 240 g lentils
- 3 cups stock
- 4 cups water
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 7 g sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 60 g bacon, diced
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 heat oil and cook carrot, onion, celery and bacon until they soften. add cumin, chilli flakes, soy sauce and garlic. add the chickpeas, the water and stock.
- 2 simmer for 30 minutes. season with salt and pepper, sesame seeds and serve.
