Black Walnut Kuchen

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped black walnuts or 1/4 cup english walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 mix everything except your topping ingredients.
  • 3 beat well and thoroughly for 1 minute.
  • 4 spread in a greased cake pan.
  • 5 mix toppings in another bowl.
  • 6 spread toppings on top of cake.
  • 7 bake 35 - 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
