Crisco Tuna Chip Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup crumbled potato chips
- 2 (7 ounce) cans tuna fish, drained and flaked (about 2 cups of tuna)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350f, have ready a lightly greased casserole dish.
- 2 in a saucepan over medium heat, melt shortening; blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
- 3 add milk and worcestershire sauce and cook until thick and smooth, whisking constantly; remove from heat.
- 4 place 1/4 of the chips in the bottom of the casserole dish; top with 1/3 of the tuna.
- 5 repeat layers, ending with a topping of potato chips.
- 6 pour the sauce over all and cook in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
