Conchiglie Salad With Tuna & Lettuce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb conchiglie
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 ounces butterhead lettuce, trimmed and shredded
  • 7 ounces canned tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in large pot bring 5 qts water to a boil.
  • 2 add conchiglie and cook until al dente.
  • 3 drain pasta and place it into a serving bowl.
  • 4 add the olive oil and toss well.
  • 5 let the pasta cool for about 5 minutes.
  • 6 add the lettuce and tuna to the pasta.
  • 7 season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 8 toss well and serve either slightly warm, or at room temperature.
