Chicken With Cabbage And Apples

Total Time: 6 hrs Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 3 -3 1/2 lbs chicken pieces
  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 apples, cored and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh gingerroot
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
  • 2 place cabbage in bottom of a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker.
  • 3 top with onions, chicken and apples.
  • 4 combine soy sauce, ginger and pepper flakes.
  • 5 spoon over chicken and vegetables.
  • 6 cover and cook on low about 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
