Chicken With Cabbage And Apples

Ingredients
- Servings: 5
- 3 -3 1/2 lbs chicken pieces
- 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 apples, cored and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh gingerroot
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Recipe
- 1 rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2 place cabbage in bottom of a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker.
- 3 top with onions, chicken and apples.
- 4 combine soy sauce, ginger and pepper flakes.
- 5 spoon over chicken and vegetables.
- 6 cover and cook on low about 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
