Chili Con Carne

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 3/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 (19 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 (14 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 2 bay leaves
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan, cook until evenly browned, beef, onions and green peppers.
- 2 stir in rest of ingredients. bring to a boil, cover. reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- 3 remove bay leaf.
- 4 serve with hot rolls, and a salad.
