Chili-cheese Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups instant potato flakes
- 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
- 1 cup shredded mexican blend cheese or 1 cup cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in large saucepan, bring the water, milk and salt to a boil.
- 2 add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chilies.
- 3 stir until thickened.
- 4 sprinkle with cheese.
