Chocolate Kisses For Dieters

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (hershey's)
- 2 egg whites
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups five-grain cereal, flakes
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees f.
- 2 spray a cookie sheet with pam (non-stick cooking spray).
- 3 sift powdered sugar and cocoa together in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
- 4 in a large bowl beat egg whites until frothy.
- 5 add granulated sugar to egg whites one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition and continue beating until it is stiff and glossy (meringue).
- 6 beat in vanilla.
- 7 fold cocoa/sugar mixture and cereal flakes into meringue.
- 8 drop meringue onto cookie sheets using 2 teaspoons of meringue per cookie - one inch apart making 28 kisses.
- 9 bake for 20 minutes or until kisses are dry and set.
- 10 cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes and then remove kisses to a cooling rack to continue cooling.
