Chocolate Macaroon Squares

Ingredients

• 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
• 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, softened
• 1 large egg, lightly beaten
• 1 (300 ml) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/3 cups sweetened flaked coconut, divided
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 1 cup nestle toll house semisweet chocolate morsel

Recipe

• 1 peheat oven to 350°f.
• 2 combine cake mix, butter, and egg in large bowl; mix with fork until crumbly. press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla in medium bowl; beat until well blended. stir in 1 cup each coconut, nuts and morsels.
• 3 spread mixture evenly over base; sprinkle with remaining coconut. bake for 28-30 minutes or until center is almost set (center will firm when cool). cool in pan on wire rack.
