Cheesy Tex-mex Hash Browns Casserole

Ingredients

- 1 (30 ounce) package frozen shredded hash browns, thawed slightly
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
- 2 cups cubed mild velveeta mexican cheese
- 1/2 cup finely diced onion
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can diced green chilies
- 1 1/2 cups corn flake crumbs
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Recipe
- 1 mix all ingredients except topping, in a large bowl.
- 2 spread evenly in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
- 3 mix melted butter and corn flake crumbs in small bowl.
- 4 sprinkle over potatoes.
- 5 cover with tin foil and bake for 20 minutes at 350°f.
- 6 uncover and continue to bake for 30 to 35 minutes more, until heated through.
