Broccoli Puree With Parmesan

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes, prepared mashed potatoes such as simply potatoes
  • 1 lb broccoli floret, about 8 cups
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-fat milk, 1%
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 heat potatoes according to pkg directions and keep warm.
  • 2 cook broccoli in boiling water 7 min or til tender. drain. place broccoli, and remaining ingreds except mashed potatoes in a food processor, process til smooth.
  • 3 combine potatoes and broccoli mixture, and heat through if neccesary.
