Delicious Low-fat Falafels

Ingredients
- 19 ounces chickpeas (canned, drained, and rinsed)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 3 garlic (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon caynee pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 1. mix everything in a food processor.
- 2 2. roll into ping-pong sized balls.
- 3 3. place balls on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and slightly flatten.
- 4 4. bake for 20 minutes at 375°f.
- 5 5. broil for a few minutes to make outsides crunchy.
- 6 6. serve on warm pita with chopped tomatoes, red onion, scallions, lettuce, cucumber, pepper, and tzatiki
- 7 7. to make your own simple tzatiki, mix grated cucumber (peeled and seeded), salt, garlic, chives, lemon juice, and plain low-fat yogurt!
