Creamy Veggie Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 -2 carrot, chopped
- 1 -2 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 cup frozen broccoli
- 1 (8 ounce) can french style green beans
- 1/2 an onion, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can asparagus
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 soak broccoli in water untill thawed.
- 2 drain green beans and asparagus.
- 3 saute carrots, celery, onions and garlic untill soft.
- 4 add green beans, asparagus, and broccoli.
- 5 cook 2-4 minutes add salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- 6 add 1/2 cup flour to make a roux, cook 1-2 minutes.
- 7 add 1-1/2 cups milk and cook untill thick.
- 8 add 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
- 9 puree in blender untill smooth and there are no chunks.
- 10 return to pot. season with salt and pepper.
