Crab Melt

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (6 ounce) can flaked crabmeat
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 package bread du jour french bread

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter and cheese over low heat; add lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt.
  • 2 mix well.
  • 3 process in blender until smooth.
  • 4 in bowl, fold in crabmeat and chives.
  • 5 slice bread into half inch slices and spread on crabmeat mixture.
  • 6 place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 7 bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • 8 serve immediately.
