Broccoli And Pancetta Saute

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh broccoli, trimmed and cut into 4-inch spears
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 ounce pancetta, diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, quartered
  • 1 pinch hot pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-low heat.
  • 2 cook the pancetta, garlic and hot pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, until the garlic is golden and the pancetta is crisp, about 5 minutes.
  • 3 stir in the broccoli and 1/4 cup water.
  • 4 cover and cook until tender-crisp, about 8 minutes.
