Broccoli And Pancetta Saute

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs fresh broccoli, trimmed and cut into 4-inch spears
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 ounce pancetta, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, quartered
- 1 pinch hot pepper flakes
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-low heat.
- 2 cook the pancetta, garlic and hot pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, until the garlic is golden and the pancetta is crisp, about 5 minutes.
- 3 stir in the broccoli and 1/4 cup water.
- 4 cover and cook until tender-crisp, about 8 minutes.
