All-purpose Cream Sauce Mix

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups non-fat powdered milk
  • 1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 4 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a storage container with tight-fitting lid, combine all ingredients; mix well.
  • 2 seal tightly and store in a cool,dry place.
  • 3 stir or shake before each use.
  • 4 uses: substitute for condensed cream soup: combine 1 1/4 cups of water and 1/2 cup of the above sauce mix in a small saucepan; blend well.
