Broccoli Slaw ( Low Fat Version )

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 ounces broccoli slaw mix
  • 1 granny smith apple
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 1/4 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 1 pinch celery seed
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 whisk milk, mayo, sour cream, agave syrup, vinegar, lemon, deli mustard, celery seed, pepper and onion flakes until creamy.
  • 2 chop walnuts & cranberries.
  • 3 peel and cut granny smith apple in strips to resemble the slaw mix.
  • 4 incorporate all ingredients in a bowl until veggies, nuts and fruit are covered with the slaw dressing.
