Coconut Crisps

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups corn flakes
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (or sub macadamia nuts)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 cream sugar and butter; add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  • 3 add vanilla.
  • 4 sift flour, baking powder and salt into mixture.
  • 5 combine cornflakes, coconut, and nuts. gently fold this into batter.
  • 6 drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
  • 7 bake for 15 minutes until golden.
