Christmas Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 shredded wheat biscuits (each is about 2 1/2 by 4 inches)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/8 cup butter
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-bran cereal (or generic bran flakes)
- 2 1/2 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 pour boiling water over shredded wheat biscuits. let cool.
- 2 cream sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
- 3 add cooled shredded wheat
