Crock Pot Potato Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 6 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, sliced
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 5 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- pepper, to taste (optional)
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 (13 ounce) can evaporated milk
- chives (optional)
- bacon (optional)
- cheddar cheese (optional)
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients excet milk and chives in the slow cooker.
- 2 cover. cook on low 10-12 hours or on high 3-4 hours. stir in milk during last hour.
- 3 if desired, mash potatoes before serving.
- 4 garnish with optional ingredients.
- 5 (add one carrot, sliced, to vegetables before cooking.).
- 6 (instead of water and bouillon cubes, use 4-5 cups chicken stock.).
