Coconut Pecan Frosting

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup canned milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup crisco
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 in sauce pan, combine sugar, canned milk, egg yolks, crisco, and vanilla.
- 2 cook, stirring constantly over medium heat 12 minutes.
- 3 remove from heat.
- 4 add coconut and pecans, mixing until frosting is thick, let stand 15 minutes.
- 5 spread ontop of cake layers.
