Coconut Macaroons

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 dash salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 grease a cookie sheet.
  • 3 beat egg whites, vanilla, and salt till soft peaks form.
  • 4 gradually add sugar, beating till stiff peaks form.
  • 5 fold in coconut.
  • 6 drop from one teaspoon 1 1/2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • 7 bake in a 325 degree oven about 20 minutes.
  • 8 cool on a wire rack and enjoy eating coconut macaroon cookies.
