Banana Bran Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup bran flakes
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup splenda granular, sugar substitute
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 medium bananas
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
- 2 in a large bowl, crush the bran flakes, i just crumble them in my hands, then add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix well.
- 3 in a separate small bowl mash the bananas with the water then add the egg whites and milk. mix these in well.
- 4 add the liquid mix to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough is formed. spoon this into a greased loaf tin and bake for approximately 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
