meatloaf with truvia® natural sweetener

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • for the loaf:
  • 1/2 pound ground sirloin
  • 1/2 pound ground chuck
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon chili pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons truvia® natural sweetener spoonable*
  • 1 lemon zested
  • 8 ounces canned diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1/2 cup bran flakes, ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • for the sauce:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup canned pureed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 cup truvia® natural sweetener spoonable**
  • 1 dash worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Recipe

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
  • mix all loaf ingredients well and place in a baking dish. shape into a loaf.
  • mix ingredients for sauce and spread on top of loaf. bake for 1 hour.
