Cabbage, Potato And Sausage Soup

Ingredients

- 1 lb cooked kielbasa or 1 lb polish sausage, cut in half lengthwise, then sliced
- 1 (16 ounce) package coleslaw mix
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans ready-to-serve chicken broth
- 3 cups water
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups mashed potato flakes
Recipe
- 1 in dutch oven, combine all ingredients except mashed potato flakes; mix well. bring to a boil over medium.
- 2 high heat, stirring occasionally.
- 3 reduce heat to medium low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until cabbage is almost tender.
- 4 remove dutch oven from heat. stir in mashed potato flakes.
