Cabbage, Potato And Sausage Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb cooked kielbasa or 1 lb polish sausage, cut in half lengthwise, then sliced
  • 1 (16 ounce) package coleslaw mix
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans ready-to-serve chicken broth
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups mashed potato flakes

Recipe

  • 1 in dutch oven, combine all ingredients except mashed potato flakes; mix well. bring to a boil over medium.
  • 2 high heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 reduce heat to medium low; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until cabbage is almost tender.
  • 4 remove dutch oven from heat. stir in mashed potato flakes.
