Crab-stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 36 whole mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained, flaked
  • 1 tablespoon snipped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt

Recipe

  • 1 wash and dry mushrooms.
  • 2 remove and chop stems.
  • 3 melt butter in small skillet; add onion, mushroom stems, salt and pepper and cook until tender.
  • 4 spoon into mushroom caps.
  • 5 combine remaining ingredients.
  • 6 top each mushroom with the crab mixture.
  • 7 bake in a 375° oven about 15 minutes.
  • 8 serve hot.
  • 9 yield 36 appetizers.
