Apricot Bars

Ingredients
- 1 (18 ounce) jar smuckers apricot preserves (or the flavor you prefer)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add remaining ingredients except the preserves.
- 3 press 3/4 of this mixture into the bottom of a greased 13x9 pan.
- 4 bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
- 5 spread preserves on top.
- 6 crumble remaining crumb mixture over the fruit.
- 7 bake for 20 more minutes.
