Apricot Bars

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) jar smuckers apricot preserves (or the flavor you prefer)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients except the preserves.
  • 3 press 3/4 of this mixture into the bottom of a greased 13x9 pan.
  • 4 bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
  • 5 spread preserves on top.
  • 6 crumble remaining crumb mixture over the fruit.
  • 7 bake for 20 more minutes.
