Coconut Syrup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 in a heavy saucepan, combine coconut cream, flaked coconut and brown sugar.
  • 2 bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 transfer to a blender, and puree until smooth.
  • 4 serve immediately.
