Chickpea And Pasta Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 (15 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 3/4 cup cubed zucchini
- 3/4 cup sliced celery
- 3 -4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup uncooked farfalle pasta
- 2 -3 teaspoons lemon juice
- salt
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients, except pasta, lemon juice and salt in a slow cooker.
- 2 cover and cook on high 3-4 hours, adding pasta during last 20 minutes.
- 3 season to taste with lemon juice and salt.
