Cauliflower Au Gratin

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cauliflower head
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4-1/2 cup corn flake crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.
  • 2 chop cauliflower head roughly in medium sized chunks.
  • 3 steam cauliflower in a pan until semi-soft.
  • 4 spread out in bakeproof pan.
  • 5 pour in the evaporated milk (or use half and half instead).
  • 6 sprinkle on the cheddar cheese. (or you can use monterey jack pepper cheese).
  • 7 next layer is corn flake crumbs (i often use special k).
  • 8 dot top with pats of butter or margarine.
  • 9 sprinkle top with salt and pepper.
  • 10 bake for aproximately 25-30 minutes until lightly browned on top.
