Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients

- 1 (9 inch) frozen pie crusts, ready-to-bake, thawed
- 2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups frozen whipped topping
Recipe
- 1 bake pie shell according to package directions; set aside to cool.
- 2 in a medium saucepan, whisk milk, eggs, coconut, sugar, flour, butter, vanilla, and salt together.
- 3 cook over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, or until thickened.
- 4 pour into baked pie shell.
- 5 chill at least 4 hours, or until set.
- 6 spread whipped topping over pie and serve.
