20's Style Crunchy Carrots

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 5 large carrots
- 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup corn flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 wash & peel the carrots.
- 2 fill the saucepan 1/2 full with water. place on medium-high heat to boil.
- 3 meanwhile,using the paring knife and cutting board,slice the carrots into 1/4 inch slices.
- 4 boil the carrots for 10 minutes.
- 5 preheat the oven to 400 degrees farenhight.
- 6 drain the carrots into a colander,then place them into a baking dish. place teaspoons of margarine or butter evenly over the carrots. then,crumble the cornflakes over the carrots. sprinkle with salt.
- 7 bake for 10 minutes. use oven mitts to remove from the oven.
- 8 serve warm.
