Char's Tender Ribs

Total Time: 8 hrs Preparation Time: 5 hrs Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons dried cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons dry parsley flakes
  • 10 lbs ribs

Recipe

  • 1 combine oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, chili powder, cilantro and parsley. pour over ribs and turn to coat. marinate ribs in refrigerator at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
  • 2 preheat oven to 325 degrees f. drain ribs; reserve marinade. place ribs on rack in a shallow, foil-lined roasting pan. bake 30 minutes.
  • 3 turn; brush ribs with the reserved marinade. bake 30 minutes. turn ribs over; brush with remaining marinade. bake 30 minutes.
  • 4 brush ribs with your favorite bbq sauce. bake 15 minutes and continue to baste every 15 minutes until the ribs are fork tender, browned and crisp. cut into serving-size pieces.
