Brown Sauce For Egg Foo Yung

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • dried chili pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 in a small saucepan, blend starch, ginger, soy, vinegar and sugar. slowly stir in beef broth and oyster sauce. stir over a low heat until thickened and transparent. stir in chili flakes. serve hot.
