Deep-dish Pear Raisin Pie For One

Ingredients

  • 1 pear, cored, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 in bowl mix well pear, raisins, sugar, flour, cinnamon and lemon juice. turn into greased 10-ounce baking cup.
  • 2 cover with pastry circle or sprinkle on preferred topping.
  • 3 bake in preheated 375 degrees f oven 30 to 35 minutes or until crust is golden.
  • 4 serve warm or cool with whipped cream or ice cream.
  • 5 pastry:.
  • 6 cut 1 tablespoon shortening into 3 tablespoons flour and dash of salt. with fork stir in 1 teaspoon cold water. gather in ball. roll out floured surface to 5 1/2- inch circle. place over fruit in baking cup; crimp edges and cut slits in crust.
  • 7 granola topping:.
  • 8 mix well 2 tablespoons granola and 1 1/2 teaspoons softened butter or margarine.
  • 9 cereal topping:.
  • 10 mix well 2 tablespoons crushed cereal flakes, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons butter or margarine.
